Tactile indicators warning

Tactile floor covering TM Arfen is designed to help the blind and people with poor eyesight, independently and freely move around the streets and public places. Thanks to the relief pattern, the "artificial irregularity" indicates the direction of movement or warns of its change. Also, tactile floor signs have a signal color, which additionally helps people with residual visual acuity to navigate in space at train stations, airports, metro stations, hospitals, administrative buildings and on the street.

Arfen ground signs are made of elastic thermoplastic with the addition of polyurethane, which gives them a significant advantage over tiles with a tactile coating, as they have a high resistance to wear, do not crack and do not wear out.

The bright yellow tactile floor covering should be located together with the "direction of movement" signal coating in public areas. The three-dimensional drawing is made in the form of circles, giving blind people a signal of increased attention. This signal means "stop", "turn", "attention, there is an escalator ahead", "attention — there is a moving vehicle ahead" and other important notifications. Thanks to the convex elements, the ground tactile pointers are easily read with a cane or in contact with the feet. And people with residual visual acuity can perceive a bright color as a signal message.
